Today, a great example is the Iraq of Saddam Hussein. But also, North Korea is a source of evil in the eyes of America. Kim Jong-il is leading its country in a way that America does not agree with. Even before any sign of nuclear weapons, there was tension between the two countries. Iran is another obsessive target, which is in the strategic point of view an important country. It is clear that Iran is trying to work on a process that strives for National and International peace. The problem: American government sees Iran as a full member on the evil list. Also, the United States has tried to provoke China during the conflict in ex- Yugoslavia. It blew up the Chinese embassy in Belgrade even though the bombs should be accurate enough for this not to happen. Last but definitely

The sympathy that the whole world had for America could have been used to create more of a world peace. Most of the people from every corner and religion of this world disagreed with what happened that day in America. Al Qaeda was described as a sick gang of terrorists and even in the Islam world it was not accepted what he had done. This could have been used so positively, but instead of using this feeling of solidarity positively, the United States took it to far. The Bush regime felt like it needed to step on the whole Muslim world. He bullied and threatened other countries as well. In this case, all of the countries were Islamic and naturally they start forming a front. Today, not only the Islamic countries have a problem with the United States, the rest of the world also starts wondering what the US government is doing. They became the most hated or disliked country in the world. Even though not so long prior to that they were the country, which received all the sympathy.

Due to all these changes, the economy of the world is in less need of America. It is becoming more democratic. But now, America realizes that it needs the world for its economy. America has always taken a very realistic approach in the past. “Each state must rely on its own resources to survive and flourish” . This is understandable for a superpower who has been very self sufficient in the last decades. Nowadays the roles are changing, the last ten years or so they have realized that they need the rest of the world and that they are loosing power.
