"What Liberal Media?" is a great book and I think that if "Bias" is a required reading for this class then this book should be also. Alterman spends most of his time in the introduction proving Goldberg's book "Bias" wrong. He says that Goldberg's book is filled with opinions that are not backed up by evidence. I wish that everyone in this school would read this book or at least everyone in this class. I bet that if I asked a hundred people at this school whether they thought the media are conservative or liberal at least 99 of them would say liberal. I want to make my point clear, "Bias" and "What Liberal Media?" are great books but they are both bias. Everyone should read "Bias" and "What Liberal Media?" if they want to see the full story. If a teacher, I will not name any names, has his or her students only read one of these books then he or she is instructing in a bias way.
