In today’s society we believe in a quick fix in anything that ails us society. Most Americans want to be healed quickly; we want a quick fix for all our aches and pains. However, these people who suffer from A.D.D. depend on Adderall, they need it to make them more controllable, and pay attention better in class.Like most new drugs they are very effective and have changed many poor students into successful students. However, in today’s society children, young adults, and adults will take advantage of a good thing. Adderall is being abused in college and high school campuses across the United States. There are thousands of young children and adults who suffer from attention deficit disorder. The use of Adderall is important to the schooling, and learning of these people. Adderall is what makes these people function in class and the work place. However the illegal wide use and abuse of Adderall is present throughout the communities of America. We have to come up with certain regulations for the use of Adderall. Doctors may have to be open with their patients so that the prescriptions are used solely by the patient, and that the patient can’t afford to give up any extra pills to friends or sell them. I feel Adderall is too important to many people to just take off the market because people are abusing it. However just like illegal drug use it would be hard to crack down on illegal Adderal use. So as you can see Adderall is a powerful pill that affects many people’s daily life. It helps people function in class or on the job or just in daily task. Hopefully this fad with abusing Adderall will end because at this time there is nothing we can do to stop it. Hopefully with children parents are stepping in and are in charge of their child’s prescription, so that there won’t be any misuse or the child selling the prescription. I feel a lot of misuse can be stopped if the parent and the doctor had an open relationship with the child. As of right know no one or no agency is doing any sort of crack down on illegal Adderall use. I feel the bottom line is if someone wants something bad they can probably get it in America.
