The Great Depression was a time of hunger, unemployed, deflation and many ill effects of the U.S economy. This however, was reversed due largely to the part of what Franklin Delano Roosevelt did during his first hundred days in his presidency. Franklin Delano Roosevelt was a man whom used his unique ideas, persistence and words to help ease the depression and keep the U.S. from crumbling. During his inauguration speech in November, he encouraged his widespread supporters with optimistic views and a very memorable quote, “The only thing you need to fear is fear itself.”

Basically what the N.R.A did was to help fight off widespread unemployment. The N.R.A was finally enacted with promising hope on May 17, 1933 by congress. The NRA was a great benefit to the Great Depression and helped stir the market somewhat but not bring the economy out of the depression. The N.R.A had promising hopes at first but soon years later the NRA had failed in its aims of sponsoring government-business business and promoting recovery and declared unconstitutional by the U.S Supreme Court.
