Anne Frank

Anne Frank was a true hero. She endured many hardships under Nazi rule; it eventually cost her her life. To others, writing in a journal might not be seen as a form of resistance, but it indeed was.

The Nazi’s had begun incarcerating all Jews, sending them to Death Camps. In the beginning Anne wrote for her own muse, but after hearing a speech on the radio about a man that would be interested in publishing diaries and such of the events transpiring in Europe, Anne began to edit her journal. Today, what we read as Diary of a Young Girl are actually selections from the two versions of Anne Frank’s journ
