In the field of Social Science, my Grandmother thought that I should know information on Winston Churchill. She said, "He was a very fascinating man, and he worked very closely with America during World War II." My father on the other hand thought that in should know about John F. Kennedy. He went on to say, "The events that surrounded JFK, and the whole country at that time should be studied so they can be prevented in the future." I decided to do my research on Winston Churchill, because I have already studied President Kennedy in great detail during high school. Winston Churchill once said, "You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory. Victory at all costs. Victory in spite of all terrors. Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival." This is the type of attitude that the help the Great Britain, North America and the rest of the Allie powers during the World War II. Winston Churchill was the Prime Minister of Great Britain during World War II, and did a great deal to help the world overcome Hitler and the Nazis army. He worked very closely with President Roosevelt during theses difficult times.
