People who are left out often seek attention. In the movie Cheaters the character Irwin Flickas was one of the Academic Decathlon members until he was no longer one of the main contributors due to his inability to pay attention in class, even through he was the one who provided the team with the cheating. Later on Dr. Gerard Plecki advised Irwin to disguise himself as one of the judges for the speech contest. After the team won, Irwin was segregated from all the recognition and pride. Irwin felt betrayed by his team mates and was irritated for not receiving the acknowledgment and glory he worked so hard for.

I can relate to the situation Irwin was in. Irwin feels unfair for what he had to go through. He spends the same amount of time and energy as every one else on the Decathlon team, now that the team had succeeded in winning due to Irwin contribution. Why should he be left

People who are left out will often seek attention because they need a sense of belonging. They will do whatever it takes to fulfill that void of loneliness. I recommend talking to that person, and make sure the outcome is agreeable by both.

Dr. Gerard Plecki was the kind of teacher who made a genuine difference. He taught his students dedication, perseverance and teamwork. He had good intentions when he encouraged his Decathlon students to cheat and lie. Dr. Gerard Plecki commented “I just want you to know what it feels like to win. Because once you’ve had that feeling, you’ll never let it go.” He taught the students that in order to accomplish something special, one must cheat or manipulate the system. The main key is not to get caught. Al though Dr. Gerard Plecki and his Decathlon team was finally caught cheating, he made sure that from now on the Decathlon system would be more secure, making sure that the team that won really deserves to win.

I do believe in integrity and morality. Cheating is a bad thing, but honestly I have never met a person that has not cheated. All of the successful people had to cheat to get to where they are today.
