Sexual abuse is taking advantage of a child with the intent to sexually stimulate a child or tho use a child to sexually stimulate ones self. Sexual abuse by a family member or someone who has a kinship role in the childs life is considered incest. This can be a biological mother, father, brother, sister, foster parent or member of the family through marriage. The legal definition of incest is sexual intercourse between people who are blood related. Abuse is divided into outside abusers and inside abusers. An inside abuser is one who is in the family, otherwise known as incest. An outside abuser that is not related to the victim, such as a teacher, coach, or doctor. This is considred sexual abuse because the adult was in charge of the victim at the time of the incident.
