Comparison of QCC and NYU
New York University and Queensborough Community College are both excellent colleges. Both have exceptionally impressive faculty and have won numerous awards for academic achievements. However when you analyze the cost of schooling and the social life of the students who attend these schools, you realize how different the two schools really are. Although there are many differences between New York University and Queensborough Community College few similarities do tend to exist. Academically, many individuals study very similar subjects in both NYU and QCC, however, the social life and the cost of schooling differ dramatically. New York University, also known as NYU, is located in the heart of the city of Manhattan. Its name has really lived up to its potential over the years as the former students have graduated and have become some of the most successful businessmen in life. Furthermore, NYU has an immense diversity of academic programs ranging from the different sciences to business programs to performing arts. People have rapidly realized the quality of education NYU has to offer. Along with its exceptional education, NYU students also experience one of the most exciting social lives.

NYU students pay more money then students from QCC mainly due to the fact that NYU is located in Manhattan and the cost of living is much higher in the city then in the suburbs. Also, NYU students pay for dorming and food. Most NYU students have a meal plan and reside in a dormitory. NYU and QCC are both excellent schools but they do have major differences in both their social lives and the cost of living. The cost of schooling at QCC is most probably the most impressive feature about the school. Compared to other colleges, QCC offers extremely competitive prices to their students. The students receive an excellent quality education and credits that they would receive at other colleges but at less then half the cost.
