Effects of Princess Diana's Death

Diana, Princess of Wales, died on August 31, 1997, at only 36 years old. Why does

society grieve so much over someone they have never known, or spoken to? (Kruh 1F). Diana

was a known celebrity not only because of her unexpected death, but also for the good deeds

she served for society. This death has affected her family, businesses, and society.

Diana started out towards her role as princess when she was born, July 1, 1961, in

Sandringham Norfolk, England. Diana was the youngest of Earl Spencer and wife, Frances. Her

parent’s marriage ended in divorce when she was still young. She lived with her father along with

her brother and two sisters. As far as school, she was sent off to a boarding school in Norfolk,

and finished her education in Switzerland. She then took on a part time job as a kindergarten
