Face Of Fear

In many books the main character is placed in a position that is very compromising. Graham Harris is placed into situations such as these. He is a fairly middle-aged man who now has a slight gimp in his leg.
Graham Harris was once a very prosperous mountain climber until a tragic accident changed his life. Little did he know that is fear of climbing would come into play as his life, along with his fiancé's is now placed in severe danger. Two men claiming to be "supermen" believe that people such as Graham should be eradicated from this world and they do their best to see to it.
At first the Mr. Harris is portrayed as kind of a wuss and I didn't think that was very cool, but once the book got more into swing it showed that he turned out to be more of a man than I thought. He was able to overcome his fears and do what was necessary, and that is respectable. .
Reading the title of this book would almost lead you to pick what the theme is without having to read one page. The Face of Fear. What I took in to be the theme is that when things come down to the line, you have to be able to overcome your fears and be able to move on or else you will always be stuck in the past. .
This book was rather easy reading for a Koontz book so yes; I would recommend this to others. The plot keeps you on your toes for the most part. I don't give it a ten but its still a good book.
