Genesis two is a myth that reflects upon our civilization at a very premature stage of our history. What makes this whole myth very interesting is that it takes place at a time when earth had just been created by God. The fact that we have no recorded evidence of what had really happened back that far in history makes us today wonder to our selves if there is any chance of this so called myth being true. In this story of Genesis the Lord starts civilization by creating man and the three basic elements needed for survival.
The myth starts at the seventh day where God had just finished creating the heavens and the earth. After the hard work of creating this beautiful earth consisting of just water and dry land, God decided to bless the seventh day and caused the seven days that it took to create the planet to be c
alled a week. However, how can God have men survive on an earth without growing plants, one of man’s major food sources. Therefore, God went ahead and had the skies above us rain and water the dry land. Now it was time to for God to create man, which he did from the dust that was lying on the ground. As I had said earlier there was a reason for everything the Lord had provided and the dust on the ground was one good example, which was used to create man.
The man now needs to eat in order to survive, therefore God placed him in the garden of Eden where God saw that every tree that looked pleasant to the sight and was capable of providing food grow. The Lord also placed a tree of the knowledge good and evil in the garden and warned the man that if he were to eat from that particular tree, he would be destined
