Golf Experience

My pulse was racing and I could hardly concentrate on anything my history teacher was saying in my last period class. My dad had organized a four-man golf team to play in a charity event, and I was a member. We were supposed to tee off at 1:00, which means I had to leave class right away to make it to the course on time. My adrenaline was combined with my nerves to make me ready for the tournament.

My anticipation was building up as I waited for my last period class to get out. I did not pay attention to anything the teacher was saying; all I could think about was the tournament. But we pulled it off surprisingly well, with a whopping 57 total.

l of nervous energy, I decide to live life on the wild side and drive 90 mph, in hopes of regaining some lost time. Since my body was on a fast pace, I decided to listen to some up-beat music that would keep my energy alive. It was one of my burnt cd’s I had made just for this type of occasion. So of course I rolled the windows down and turned the volume up as loud as it would go, without busting the speakers. I was on my way now and traveling at a good pace until I realize there is roadwork ahead. The dreaded government road-working employees that never seem to be doi
