Hilter

World War One ravaged Europe leaving in its aftermath destruction and high tensions between the European nations. These circumstances created a void that gave rise to an opportunity for a leader like Hitler. Adolf Hitler seized that opportunity and he influenced humanity in unspeakable ways. His short rule as a German leader brought about some of the greatest horrors in the history of man. He envisioned a world were Germany controlled the entire planet. He believed that the Aryan race was the only pure race and should rule the world. Through the use of his skills as a leader, a public speaker, and a politician he rose to power. Due to the absence of good leadership in Germany and his strong persistence brought about his success in obtaining power. He skillfully used propaganda to coax, and force to manipulate the German people. He appealed to them as a panacea to the problems facing their nation. Although the German populace did not entirely embrace Hitler as their leader he

managed to achieve a position that would allow him to obtain supreme power. Once in power he consolidated his position as the supreme German leader and began to impose his vision. His plans were to conquer Germany first and then the entire world. He official

Hitler planned for four wars. The first was to seize Czechoslovakia and Poland. Then he planned on eliminating the French and British. The third would be against the Soviet Union and finally the forth against the United States. He felt the hardest war would be against France and Britain because he felt they contributed mostly to Germany’s defeat in World War One. Hitler also believed that defeating the Soviets and the U.S.A would be easy. Hitler signed a treaty with the Soviets to ensure that a two front war would not occur. He never planned to keep this non-aggression pact with Russia. He only maintained the relationship to supply Germany with the raw materials they needed to wage war effectively.

The multiparty system made it impossible for the government to rule through political parties. The government was forced to rule by decree. No one party could from a majority in parliament. They could not agree to form a coalition government because of wide spread differences. The left and right wing extremists groups attacked the government from both sides. The Communist and the Fascists political parties drew most of the support. With the moderates lacking a majority the government was doomed.

The one party system that replaced the republic was more efficient in maintaining order but all freedoms were abolished. With the suspension of civil liberties and all the power residing in Hitler’s hand he began to implement his vision. Political freedoms were non-existent and all political parties were banned. No internal element was left to stop him from pursuing his goals. Discriminatory laws against Jews were passed 1933. These laws barred Jews from government employment and restricted their admission to universities. In subsequent years, anti-Semitic laws became increasingly harsh, as Jews were deprived of citizenship, excluded from more and more jobs, forbidden to own cars, thrown out of public schools, and stripped of their property. He intensified his campaign of anti-Semitism. He started segregating the Jewish populace and began his concentration camps. First he used the Jews prisoners as forced labors and then started to systemically exterminate them in death camps!

The German military had many victories at first. They conquered Czechoslovakia, Poland, and France with relative ease. The Blitzkrieg tactic proved very effective for the German forces early in the war. Bombing the enemy and then quickly mobilizing ground forces to destroy left over resistance. With heavy tanks the German army advanced relentlessly in spite of opposition.

n racist and believed that the Aryan race was the supreme evolution of man. It is believed that this may have been the point where Hitler had developed his belief of Aryan racial superiority. It is also believed that this maybe where he developed his extreme hate for Socialism and the Jewish people. In later years Hitler started to paint postcards and buildings to financially support himself. When World War One started he volunteered for service and served throughout the entire war.
