Jack Ruby

Jack Ruby is one of the stellar players in the now infamous assassination of John F. Kennedy, which took place on November 22, 1963. Certainly, Lee Harvey Oswald is another of the major players as well a plethora of agencies, individuals, conspirators, etc. However, the focus of this research paper shall be upon Jack Ruby, and, invariably, the discussion shall lead into others issues and individuals which were all part of the very complex John F. Kennedy assassination. The fact that Jack Ruby killed Lee Harvey Oswald is no secret. In point of fact, it was actually televised, wherein tens of millions of people actually witnessed it. Within this scenario, that is, the fact that Jack Ruby shot Oswald, the charging with the assassination and the subsequent killing a policeman, the famous operator of Dallas nightclub, Jack Ruby is both acknowledged and discussed at some length by William Brown (Brown, 21). Jack Ruby was actually a well known nightclub owner whose many clientele were police officers in the City of Dallas. When investigating the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and the still many unanswered questions, organizations and individuals such as the CIA, the Mafia (one particular chieftain who was often mentioned is na

For example, more speculation on the Kennedy assassination, now from events surrounding Jack Ruby, the small time strip joint owner who shot Lee Harvey Oswald, has emerged in a film in the 1980s. The lead character was played by one actor Danny Aiello, in the title role, yet, the film merely brought out more hard to prove theory. Within this account, it was a murder conspiracy concerning the CIA and the Mafia (Cineman Syndicate, 2). Like so many other versions, the story left us guessing, still, it did in my view, raise many questions (probably more than answers) as well as insight into the many nefarious characters involved in the Kennedy assassination. In 1998, the FBI sent an additional 41,811 pages of documents about the assassination of President Kennedy to the national archives for public relief. Among the files transferred earlier were those relating to Lee Harvey Oswald, Kennedy’s assassin, and Jack Ruby, Oswald’s assassin, as well as subjects reviewed by a house committed that examined various conspiracy theories in the case (Ap Online). However, not unlike other both supposedly factual, as well as semi-factual accounts, there were no true definitive answers given involving the relationship of Jack Ruby to the Kennedy assassination. However, according to one source, some startling information came out regarding Jack Ruby and his relationship to the J.F.K. assassination wherein a letter by Jack Ruby claimed L.B.J. had a role in the slaying of John F. Kennedy. According to Tan Kopin, he fire the shot that confounded the world, now, 28 plus years after Jack Ruby’s death, a previously unreleased letter purported written by the man who shot Lee Harvey Oswald has surfaced to fuel an old controversy. Recently, Manhattan based historical records dealer Gary Zimet told New York Newsday he has acquired a letter written by Ruby in which Ruby accused President Lyndon B. Johnson of complicity of the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy. In the 12 page letter written from prison in 1965, Ruby also claime
