Music

Music is classified as the organization of sound. But the way the music has been organized has changed with time. Over many years, music has changed styles from baroque to romantic to modern day rock.
Baroque Music is the earliest form of music. Due to the time period, the music only required minimal amounts of musicians. The Musicians of that time were not as proficient at their instrument so the music wasn't as complex as it is today. They didn't have the necessary resources to create appeasing music. The musicians abilities were limited due to the underdevelopment of the instruments. There was no tech. to create "perfect" instruments thus the musicians had to rely on them selves. People were unknowing of the aspects of instruments so the full potential of the music could not be reached. Baroque music was the drop of water that started the ongoing ripple of music.
The romantic period had created more sensitive music. To achieve this the music was composed to be slower. The slower tempo gave a more romantic feeling. Also, the musicians could put more feeling into the music. The articulation of the music also contributed to romanticism. The music was played softly and long. With the longer notes the music could grow with intensity. The romantic period is one of the highlights of the history of music. .
Modern rock is a mixture of all previous forms of music. Many rock composers used medleys from classical composers. The rock musicians like to use familiar things with some modern twists. Things like bends, dips, gliss' and rips modernize the music. Some of the chord progressions of some classical pieces are used. The rock group may change the medley to suit their liking. Or they may even rewrite the medley to give the music a new sound. Rock is the pinnacle of man's achievement.
Webster defines music as the art of producing significant arrangements of sounds, usually with reference to rhythm, pitch, and tone color.
