Nietzsche

In analyzing and studying Friedrich Nietzsche, we are presented with a multitude

of unique viewpoints towards humanity and society. His intriguing and controversial

insights have been the subject of constant critique ever since their origin. Nietzsche has

been grossly misread and misinterpreted throughout history, the most prominent of which

being the fact that he was considered to be an Anti-Semite and his works served as a

foundation of Nazi dogma. The modern era has cast some light on Nietzsche to disprove

those past labels yet his legacy still remains as one of the most inquisitive and distinct

knowledge and absolutes. Instead of acknowledging any information as fact, he would

argue that the information is only the result of a certain perspective; a specific view of the

world and its actions. Perspectivism, as it was called, was characterized by Nietzsche as

the belief that there are no true absolutes, rather that everyone has their own unique

perspective and interpretation of the world. Nietzsche challenged the acquisition of any

knowledge whatsoever and praised the process of doing so. On The Genealogy Of
