Teens

The time in which humans leave the stage of being a child is a very difficult time for both the person and their parents. Being a teenager means that you have many more tasks to accomplish and many more physical and emotional changes to go through. The changes that teenagers experience are those among sexual activity, violence, and drug abuse. Many wonder what exactly creates these changes, and whether it is more than just hormones. My mission is to find out if the causes of teenagers" actions result from media and peers.
             RESEARCH VOLUNTEERS.
The volunteers that were interviewed were Andrea Willis, Zeeshan Bhatti, Evelyn Povey, and Shirley Sankar. Andrea and Zeeshan were interviewed on April 18th, and Evelyn and Shirley were interviewed on April 22nd. .
Andrea is eighteen years old and was a former pregnant teen who had an abortion. She was appropriate for questions I had on teen pregnancy. Zeeshan is a nineteen-year-old who almost lost his life due to teen violence. He answered my questions on teen violence. Evelyn is seventeen years old and is a former marijuana user. She was helpful in answering my questions on teen drug abuse. My finial interviewee was Shirley who is in her fifties and is a mother of three grown children. She answered my questions on teen sexuality, drug abuse, and violence.
One thing that all four of my interviewees had in common was that they were all eager to help me with my research and that they provided me with sufficient information I needed to do my essay. It was easy to understand what they were saying. My interviewees were an absolute help.
             ANALYSIS OF INTERVIEW QUESTIONS.
The purpose of my interview questions was to prove that teenagers" behaviour is a result of media and peers. I prepared ten questions for each person; some of the questions were the same and the rest were different. I related the questions to the situations each interviewee had experienced to get suitable responses from them.
