Television

If someone does nothing but sit on the couch and watch television all day, they are considered to be a couch potato. The one thing that couch potatoes are really good at is synthesizing things into their head. It is easy for them to do this because they do not have to think much and it requires no effort. Analyzing something is almost the complete opposite. You have to actually think and use some effort. In this paper, I will be talking about synthesis and analyzing.

When someone is just sitting down and watching television, they are synthesizing all of the information into their head. The medium is sending the messages from the programs that are being synthesized. Some of the most synthesized shows on television are sitcoms, cartoons, and soap operas. There are a lot of actions and conversations in them and they are basically designed to entertain you or try to make you laugh. For example, cartoons are just animated characters that move around a lot and do a lot of actions to try and make you laugh. You do not learn anything from them and they do you no good. Most sitcoms are just shows with a lot of jokes and humor aimed to try and make you laugh. Soap operas are shows that try to get you emotionally attached to the

It is very easy to become addicted to a certain television show or station. Being addicted to the program is what the people who run the show want you to be so that the show can get more ratings and make more money. If someone is addicted to television and watches it every day, then they are probably good at synthesizing things on television. It does not take that long to be a good synthesizer. A little kid can be good at synthesizing television just as long as he has watched it long enough. If someone is really good at synthesizing, then they can sometimes predict what will happen next in the show or even predict the outcome of the show. Or they can tell when something good or bad is about to happen because of the type of music being played. Shows that have a lot of action and camera movement require you to synthesize a lot. Most shows only have the same camera position for about three seconds at a time. That’s because they want to keep your eyes moving and they want to keep you entertained, not bored with just one picture. In most action shows, the camera is always moving around and people are always doing something. The more synthesizing someone does, the more zoned in they get to the show if they like the show.

In conclusion, being a couch potato and sitting in front of the television set the rest of your life and synthesizing all of the programs is going to do you absolutely no good at all in life. It would only be a huge waste of time. But if you want to be somebody smart with a good career, then you are going to have to know how to analyze certain things for that job so that you can be the best person for that job.

There are some programs on television that give people bad ideas by using drugs or violence. Most of these bad ideas are given to kids. If a kid sees something on television, then he/she might think it is ok and then might try it out themselves. For example, if a kid sees his favorite character on his favorite television show get into a fist fight at school, the kid might think it is ok for him to get into a fight with his enemy at school. Or if a kid sees other kids on television smoking or drinking, then he might think it is ok for him to do it. Or if a kid sees some other kid on television disrespecting his parents then he might do the same thing. A lot of the curse words that kids say are because they have heard them before on the television.

There are a lot of shows and movies on television that can give kids bad ideas and thoughts. Unfortunately, a lot of the times for kids it’s always monkey see, monkey do. Sometimes kids don’t realize what is right from wrong and no one is around t
