Young adolescents these days grow up faster than they are supposed to. They are exposed to sex, drugs, tobacco and alcohol early in their lives, and they are usually yet too immature to act responsibly. Young teenagers at the prime of their curiosity tend to be vulnerable, and furthermore, they are influenced by the adults and peers around them. As these troubled youngsters grow up, they are either too addicted to break free and their relationship with his or her parents is considerably damaged. The adolescent’s constant guilt eventually separates him or her from their parents. Families are broken, and more and more, children are lost to their inability to cross their fears and be honest. If only they had listened to their parents, or at least returned and sought help from them; however, the generation gap still seems just too far for many children.
