The Pigman was a book abouta boy named John, and a girl named Lorraine, they're best friends. Well, Johnis sort of immature and jouvenile for his age. He does things like set offbombs in school bathrooms. He does prank calls as a contest with some of hisother friends, the point of the game is to see who can keep someone on thephone for the longest before the person finds out that you're prank callingthem and hangs up. John called a man named Pignati and told him that he wasraising money for a fund. Pignati (the Pigman) wanted to meet the people thathe was going to become friends with, so asked for John and Lorraine to meethim at the zoo, to look at the monkeys. The Pigman is very lonely because hiswife died, and he's very generous because he doesn't want to be lonelyanymore. He becomes friends with Lorraine and John but you'll have to readthe book for the ending.
