In doing research on various methods I have come to conclude that the optical and punch ballot methods are the prime voting types. The first method I would like to discuss is the Optical method. The system uses scan ballets but it is the most expensive and reliable methods used in Florida (Balch, 2000). The most impressive feature the system has is that it can scan the ballot immediately and spit out ballots with errors so voters can correct them (Balch, 2000).
