Yosemite

Last summer, my family and I spent a week at Yosemite National Park. It was a drilling experience. We had such a good time camping in the wilderness and learning many interesting things about nature. This gave us a chance to appreciate all the beauties of nature provided for us. Yosemite is a perfect place for families. This place is known for its spectacular natural scenery, its long history, and a vast variety of activities for enjoyments.

Yosemite is probably best know for natural beauties. Located a in a portion of the Sierra Nevada that stretches along California's eastern flank, Yosemite National Park embraces a vast tract of scenic wildlands. The park has three major features: alpine wilderness, groves of Giant Sequoias, and Yosemite Valley. Each features contributes different characteristics to the park My favorite feature is the valley, a mosaic of open meadows sprinkled


"The Incomparable Valley," so it has been called probably the world's best known example at a glacier carved canyon. Its leaping waterfalls, towering cliffs, and rounded domes make it a preeminent natural marvel. These, elements have inspired poets, painters, photographers, and millions of visitors for more than one hundred years. Many people have come to Yosemite and left refreshed and relaxed and perhaps a bit more knowledgeable about what they want out of life.

Yosemite National Park provides a vast variety of activities for visitors of all interests. Here, tourists can go for a hike, biking, horse back riding, or mountain climbing during the summer. For more relaxing activities, many prefer fishing, bird watching, and scenic viewing. Besides those, in the winter, tourists can ski on various locations.
