For a period of 6 months I plan to observe each of the groups based on the questions in the survey. My observations will take place at the clinic from which I obtained them. After a 3 months observation period I plan to take the survey and give my opinion of each of the participants in each group and add them to each of their files. At the end of the 6-month experiment, I will give the parents and teachers the same survey they took before the experiment was conducted except in a different order and each question will be worded differently and still having the same meaning. The purpose of the survey is to get a better understanding of the child’s behavior before receiving a stimulus, and then their behavior after receiving it to find where and if a change my lie in order to find the best treatment option.

The treatment for ADHD can be in different forms such as therapy, behavior modification, and medications. Medication is the treatment used most. There are many types of medication on the market including dextroamphetamine (Dexedrine), pemoline (Cylert), a combination of dextroamphetamine and amphentamine (Adderall), and the most popular of them all being Methylphenidate, which is known to the world as Ritalin.
