There is a plague in our modern day society. As of this point it is continuously getting worse by the day. It is the fact that many more people today, now more than ever, are resorting to the use of anabolic steroids. People in this day and age are getting to be too lazy and they are always looking for the quick fix for their problems. They reach a point when they become desperate to make a change, and because of their lazy nature they take the easy way out and resort to the use of anabolic steroids. They fail to realize the price that they must pay for this quick fix. Anabolic steroids are bad for you, and there is no proof otherwise. Steroids are addictive, not physically, but more so mentally. The negative side effects far out way the positive, and they do in fact shorten one’s life expectancy. I was personally considering taking anabolic steroids for I was not getting the results that I wanted when I was working out. After completing this research I am glad that I didn’t. We as a society are all in some way influenced by the media. That is the reason why it is there.
