Define the six parts of tragedy by Aristotle-

Aristotle believed that were six parts of tragedy, plot, character, thought (theme), language, melody (music), and spectacle. Plot is a series of events that happens on stage. It must have a beginning, middle, and an end. Character is discovered by what they say and do, what others say and the appearance. A character is also someone who re- enacts the actions of the plot. Thought/theme is the moral lesson of the plot, “the observation of life.” Language is an image that is created in the mind. Melody/music complement the action on the stage, which is also known as the media that effects the imitation. In my mind it applies to comedy through the Pepsi twist commercial because it shows Ozzy Osborne talking to his kids who end up twisting into the Osmons. This is comedy because the Osmons are known for there cheery, good hearted attitude where the Osborne’s, especially Ozzy, are known more for there vulgar yet humoring attitudes.
