Bball Game
On Wednesday December 6th I attended a Missouri Valley Conference men’s basketball game between the Creighton Jays and Northern Iowa Panthers inside the Cedar Falls dome. I had never been to a basketball game in the UNI-Dome before so I didn’t really know what to expect. It kind of worked out though, when you told us that we could use this for our response paper topic because I was already planning on going to that game because I have a friend that plays for Creighton and friend that plays for UNI. Since I knew I had to use this for the paper, I went into the game looking closely at the atmosphere as well as the setup and the performance. As I walked into the dome I could sense excitement that I did not expect to see in a Missouri Valley Conference game. I was excited to see my two friends play and the fans were excited to see two good programs on the rise in college basketball. There was large crowd already there when the warm-ups started. The game was put on very well by UNI in my opinion. They bring out the bleachers in dome as well as large purple curtains that are put up behind each basket. This brings the fans closer to the action and
