Aim: To calculate the density of a regular shaped object using a beam balance.

Apparatus: Physical beam balance, vernier calliper, weight box & a given object,

Theory: Density is important and characteristic property of matter. Density is the measure of the compactness of a body. After making independent measurements of mass and volume, Density is calculated by the mass per unit volume of a substance.
