Genetics may control our race, hair color, eye color, and gender, but as Henslin pointed out early in article 13, socializations decides our sexuality. My childhood was much like that which was discussed in this article. I was allowed to play outside longer, go farther down the street, get my clothes dirtier, watch different things on TV, and stay up later than my older sister. And being the smart mouth kid I was, I rubbed it in her face every time I got to do something and she didn’t.
