H2O has been created to help a variety of college students find applicable jobs upon graduation. H2O provides the students with the opportunity to intern with well-established companies. This opportunity prepares students for their role as faithful, informed, and articulate members of the business world.The particular mission of H2O is to assist college graduates in becoming leaders and to excel within their particular field of study. We feel that we furnish the tools to stimulate the graduate in a positive direction. We believe that all students have the ability to learn and be successful. An internship with our business contacts will provide a variety of strategies to ensure student success. We believe that every student deserves a rich education and career guidance in order to develop the self knowledge necessary to make sound educational and career decisions. All students inherently want to be successful and we realize that in order for them to do so we must provide the means to help them reach their full potential. The internship process begins with students identifying a need for future assistance with job placement and realizing H2O as a valuable tool. Students will be informed of our company through a variety of advertising mediums including: flyers, newspaper, web page, campus recruitment (e.g. Career Connections, Job Fairs) and a multitude of other forums. A student will have the ability to apply on-line through our web page or in person at our office. Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible as the search for an appropriate internship position will begin immediately. A student will then be informed via phone or email of openings within companies; this does not mean that they have the position but that their qualifications and preferences match the outlined requirements for an opening. For each internship opportunity, H2O will choose 5 to 10 of our most well fitted applicants who will then be selected for interviews directly with the employer. This gives the employer the benefit of choosing the most well suited applicant and such an opportunity allows for the applicant to become familiar with the company and resolve any questions related to the company or the ensuing position. H2O is dedicated to realizing the needs of our clients and fitting their needs to the best of our ability. We must look at our customers’ positive and negative qualities and work with them to strengthen the positive and improve the negative. We must adapt a clear cut view of what our clients on both sides of the spectrum need in order to continue a successful relationship. Internal risks are present within every company, but should none the less be overlooked. There is a possibility that the applicants will not be up to our standards and perhaps be a poor representative of our firm. We require multiple interviews with all applicants prior to our acceptance of them. Any person who we place into the working world is a direct reflection of the integrity of our company, thus we will only accept the most promising applicants.
