Entering the digital and technology world, camera patrolling the streets instead of as many cops, is expected in this time era. A cop can only see a certain amount of things and there aren’t enough cops to observe everything that goes on in a city. With cameras up, we will have a better idea of what is going on in the city, and if a crime isn’t caught by a cop and is reported later on, someone can go back and look at the footage that was captured by the camera and hopefully catch the person that committed the crime. Cameras have been up at airports and banks for years and nobody has said anything because they are there to increase the security of that place. What is the problem with trying to increase the security of an entire city with the use of cameras on street corners and highways. If you have nothing to hide then why be against this, only the people that are criminals or have something to hide should be against this and hopefully will think twice about committing the crime.

10. Not be used as part of a data matching program for purposes other then surveillance for the reduction of crime of the area in which it is installed;

There are limitations on where the cameras can be placed, for example they can’t be up in bathrooms or dressing rooms, which is understandable. People are saying that the government is trying to do the whole “Big Brother” concept but they aren’t recording your life and or just waiting for you do something wrong. Most of the time they don’t even watch
