Shelly – Outpatient - Circle Treatment Center Referrals are a large part of CTC’s operating success. The primary referral vehicle is word of mouth, however, CTC receives referrals from local hospitals, attorneys, and the yellow pages. CTC refers out to Psychiatrists, AA meetings, attorneys, inpatient programs, and other outpatient centers. The follow-up and aftercare was lacking, in that they do not proactively contact members after they finish their program. Basically, most of the members there are doing so by the direction of the court or by their attorney's suggestion to lessen a drug or alcohol offense. CTC notifies both the attorney and court if a member does not show up to scheduled meetings. CTC does offer their assistance in the future and offer take home information but that is the extent of the follow up they do.
