American culture is infatuated with violence

American culture has developed to accept more violence in our society today than there ever was before. Children are exposed to more and more violence every day. This is why violence is becoming a daily issue and becoming a bigger in our movies, television shows, schools, and at home.

The Analyzation of Violence on Screen In the last few years, Violence has become common. People often argue that the violence seen on screen is influencing our culture, yet each year the amount of viewers increase. It seems that in order for your film or program to be successful it must contain violence. This constant increase of violence on screen is due to our cultures infatuation with the art of violence. Violence is present in the most of our cultures. Most enjoyed films by our society like Independence Day, daytime talk shows such as Jerry Springer and even in cartoons that have been around forever like Tom & Jerry all include violence in the content of their program.. I can recall a time when daytime talk shows (Donahue, Oprah) would have audience feed back and very few panelists without violence. Violence in our society is out of control. Most people are part of the problem rather than the solution. In my opinion violence is not going to get any better, it will only get worse because statistics clearly show this is what the people of our society want. If we as a society work together to reduce violence shown on television and through our behavior the children of America would be less influenced. This would lead our upcoming generation a chance for a violence free society.

Violence in schools has increased throughout the nation in the last few years. This has caused many problems among students, families, faculty, and residents that populate the surrounding area. The cause of violence can be blamed on a variety of things, such as drugs, gangs, and the unstable mentality of adolescents. A combination of these three factors leads to violence in the schools. This has been because a student could not handle the rejection of their classmates and they took out their anger through violence. Drugs and gangs have also been on the increase in the past few years. More people are selling and buying drugs, and getting involved with the gang mentality.
