             Have you ever thought about how we get the energy to run the things we take for granted every single day? Energy is one of the most fundamental parts of our lives. We use energy to fulfill our needs. Energy lights our cities. Energy powers our vehicles, trains, planes and rockets. Energy warms our homes, cooks our food, plays our music, and is what gives us pictures on our televisions. Energy is everywhere and is needed the demand for energy has increased steadily, not only because of the growing population but also because of the greater number of technological goods available and the increased affluence that has brought these goods within the reach of a larger proportion of the population. There are many sources of energy that are used for these technological devices, transportation, heat, light, and the manufacturing of all kinds of goods. These sources of renewable and nonrenewable resources provide us with the energy we need to live our busy lives.
             Renewable energy's impact on the world's energy portrayal is significant. A renewable energy source can be replenished in a short period of time. Renewable energy sources include solar energy, which comes from solar rays provided by the sun and can be turned into electricity, heat and wind. This heat and wind is known as geothermal energy, which comes from inside the earth. Geothermal generating plants use geysers to produce electricity. Solar energy is needed by green plants for the process of photosynthesis. Natural collection of solar energy occurs in the earth's atmosphere, oceans, and plant life. Biomass from plants and hydropower from water are also renewable energy sources. Renewable energy has made a significant impact on the world's many milestones that have occurred during the history of using renewable sources to generate electricity. .
             The use of renewable energy is excellent. Fifty years ago, lumber supplied up to 90 percent of our energy needs.
