Fairy Tales: Not So Good For Children

Most parents think that all of these fairy tales passed on through generations are great entertainment for children, but think again. The often told stories of Snow White, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, and more are not as innocent and as magical as you think. These stories will have a huge impact on your children as they develop into adults.

Fairy tales are confusing for children and will give them the wrong ideas about what they can/can’t do. When a child is jealous of something/someone they are going to think to get rid of it/him/her either by killing or poisoning. In every fairy tale, there is an example of death or some sort of action that hurts a living thing. Kids learn from these stories and they are learning negative things; whether you ca
