One professional movie critic has this to say, “Now this is all supposed to be high comedy but I cringed through most of it“, Heather Clisby, Movie Magazine International. Heather Clisby is referring to one of my favorite movies, “Big Daddy”. She seems like a boring middle-aged woman who is not into this type of film. To me this film was to be drawn towards teenagers and young adults into the crazy comics of Adam Sandler. “Big Daddy“ is an outstanding comedy. it is about a man who is a law school graduate still living his life as a child. he finally gets the opportunity to prove to his father and his ex-girlfriend to show responsibility when he decides to take care of a young child who was left at his door step. His ex-girlfriend always get on his case about being j

obless and lazy. in defense he always makes fun of her for working at “Hooters“ as a waitress. he says she only has the job because of her large breasts. “If boob jokes and child neglect make you chortle, then you've got some sad company.”, Heather again. Now is it just me or do a lot of guys like boob jokes? Her statement about child neglect is not what Sonny Koufax, played by Adam Sandler, did at all. If anything he did the poor child who was left at his door step more good than anything. if he did not take care of the little boy he would have gone to an orphanage. to me this is not an example of child neglect. Heather Clisby finds it child neglect when sonny puts the child on newspaper to sleep after he wet the bed. i think it was more hilarious than neglect. “Mind you, I'm not an abuse survivor nor do I have children of my own but I found this stuff not only troubling but, even worse, not funny. I can see where they wanted to go but laziness set in and the result is a half-assed idea begging for re-writes”, Heather Clisby. She obviously does not know what it is like to raise children. I feel this movie shows a great portrait of the responsibility it takes to care for a young child. As an Adam Sandler fanatic, I would love if there was actually a sequel to where little Julian get a brother or something. “THIS MOVIE STINKS!”, Heather Clibsby’s opinion......my opinion, “TEN THUMBS UP!!!”
