While at Lock Haven University, I enjoyed many of the benefits that Lock Haven had to offer. For starters the scholarship money that is given to Division 1 athletes is much more awarding. Although Mount St. Mary’s is a Division 3 school, I still have the same feeling of unity as I did while at Lock Haven. Just knowing that I’m apart of something, it doesn’t matter what Division you play for. All I can hope to do now is just make the most of this situation and everything should come together in the long run.

Coming into Mount St. Mary’s I didn’t know what to expect. But things are a little bit different then they were when I was at Lock Haven University. The financial support that the athletic programs receive here are not nearly as well supported. Since it’s a Division 3 school and doesn’t have a large student enrollment there isn’t much to work with financially. Although I’m only playing soccer here, I do get some recognition throughout the campus but not nearly as much as I was getting while I was attending Lock Hav
