Perish like fruit. We all start out fresh and sweet but if we do not believe and abide we will dry up and die like fruit.

The boy was seizing and convulsing due to the possession of the evil spirit that had over powered him. Back then they did believe the problems were due to evil spirits or Satan not medical conditions.

During the biblical days many were not diagnosed due to lack of knowledge and technology. Mental illness wasn’t really known as that but as a demonic possession instead. They thought any strange behaviors were due to evil spirits.
