Iman Abudulmajid, or just more commonly know as Iman, is a famous immigrant of the United States. Iman has become very successful in many ways in the United States.

Iman started her life out in Somalia, Africa. She was born on July 25. 1955. Her father was the ambassador of Somalia and her mother was a nurse. While growing up Iman learned to speak a total of six languages. After high school Iman went to the Nairobi University to get a degree in political science. Iman was just a normal girl till one day in 1975 when photographer Peter Beard spotted her walking across campus. This is the day that Iman was “discovered.”
