Lewis Caroll

Lewis Carrol was born in Daresbury, Cheshire, England on January 27, 1832. His nationality is British, he was a Writer, Photography, and a Educator. Lewis Carrol was also known by two other names, they where Charles Lutwidge Dodgson and Rev. Charles L. Dodgson. Carroll was the oldest out of eleven children and he entertained his younger brothers and sisters with magic tricks. At the age of twelve he was sent to a boy’s school in Richmond, where he composed Latin verses and wrote stories for the school magazine. He later attended Rugby in 1846 and did well in his studies their; in 1850 he entered a Christ Church College, Oxford. He planned to follow in his father’s footsteps as a clergyman, but he was handicapped by a stutter, instead, he spent his life teaching, and preached an occasional sermon. He became a excellent photographer and a lecturer in mathematics in the college, and he lived there for the rest of his life in the rooms there.
