Enlightenment (to make clear to the intellect or conscience; to shed the light of truth and knowledge upon; to furnish with increase of knowledge; to instruct; as, to enlighten the mind or understanding), a word so powerful in its meaning, yet hard to encompass in a few words. It is the goal of life, the ultimate destination of every human being. However, throughout the history of Human Kind, people have been having their own various kinds of Enlightenment experiences or better yet nirvana, self-realization, rapture, salvation, ascension, unity consciousness, and many other enlightenment terms by various religions. It is like another dimension or reality where you found out who, what, others are truly and how this world works. I know that was the exact case when I was enlightened in private school for one year. Just as some of us find difficulty communicating our own transpersonal experiences in words that can have some meaning to other people, same difficulty goes for explaining enlightenment experiences. It is hard to explain because it allows one to explore a Transpersonal perspective for each story, situation, e.g. and offer an alternative translation which may facilitate the reader to move beyond the holding patterns of the Language of Doctrine and Dogma.
Enlightened in a private school, was more like a simple sense of awareness. This sense of awareness made me understand society and a little bit about human nature. Although the term enlightenment maybe used loosely in my case as this sort of enlightenment is temporary, because it comes and goes. How else can I explain the mistakes I still do even after getting enlightened. This sort of enlightenment isn't like the one achieved by famous visionaries like Plato, Socrates, Buddha, and among other enlightened people. History has perhaps witnessed a few hundred great individuals that have actually obtained enlightenment in the true sense.
