Marijuana is not a dead animal, it’s a plant, and it won’t kill a person if the person uses it responsibly. It is from the earth, just like oil, gold, trees, and various plants. It is legal in some parts of the United States such as California for medicinal purposes. People are dying younger compared to Biblical times when a man could live to be 500 years old. There are people killing themselves as well as others. Many are dying very early in life due to heart attacks and various other illnesses. One of the main reasons for this is an overload of stress, anger and frustration in their lives. If humans had something to take that would relax them, and had no real harmful side effects, I think the entire globe would be a better place. Many people’s lives were destroyed because they had a small amount of marijuana in their possession, and went to jail because of it. No matter what age, gender or race, there is always someone with more stress in their lives than they can handle. If this substance becomes legal in all of America, it still would need to be some type of law saying you can’t be high and drive. Smoking marijuana can be a good thing unless it is abused, like when people are high and drive, they have no idea on how it affects their decision making and thought process. Also, if marijuana was legal, and allowed to be sold in stores, the government could tax it, just as they do with alcohol and cigarettes. The country’s national debt would reduce by doing so. Then it would be a plus in more ways than one, because you would have a big decrease in the national debt as a result of the revenue the government would have from the tax on the sales. Some of the money could go into certain drug programs, and drug enforcement agents who used helicopters to fly over places like Columbia could focus on other life threatening drugs and crimes.
