There are many different ways in which Christians could help pregnant women; one of these possibilities is a charity called ‘LIFE’. LIFE, a registered national charity, has been providing accommodation for unsupported pregnant women, pregnant women who have no means of accommodation or money, since 1974. There are many LIFE houses across the U.K, they offer a roof over their heads, support for as long as they need and practical assistance to help them back on their feet. Christian doctors can refuse to undertake abortions on the ‘grounds of conscience’, this is understandable as it is against their beliefs and would be morally wrong.

How a Christian might put their beliefs into action depends on what their beliefs are but most Christians believe that abortion is morally wrong although there are extreme cases in which it is acceptable.
