National Speed Limit

Gentlemen, we are gathered today to vote upon the creation of a national speed limit. A national speed limit is needed from state to state since the speed limits on interstates vary so greatly. For example in Montana the speed limit is 75mph and on an identical road in Oregon the speed limit is 50mph.

This way people won’t become victims of these highly planned out speed traps. Small towns across the U.S. use this method of surprise on unsuspecting travelers in order to raise revenue for their town by catching travelers. was driving through an Oregon desert and didn't once think that there could have been a slower speed limit because it was a straight road for hundreds of miles. Cliff continued to clip through this desert at 70mph during the day, and when he approached a town he started to look for a speed zone, and he didn’t realize that the speed limit was 50mph. So cliff went by this town. Just as he was leaving, cliff fell victim to a speed trap, since he was going 20mph over. Cliff received a $400-dollar speeding
