Not much is knows about King Tutankhamun’s tomb prior to its discovery, although the events surrounding his burial are far from the normal process the Egyptians usually undertook when burying their former rulers. Tutankhamun died around 1325 BC, of which the causes are to this day still unknown. We do know that his death must have occurred quite suddenly, as no royal tomb had yet been built for the young king. Instead he was posthumously buried in a relatively small tomb that was probably not even a royal one. Historians believe that this was probably the official burial cham
