After watching the movie Fail Safe, many thoughts ran through my head. I would never want to be in that position to make a decision to take out a major city in my own country or start World War III. If the President takes out his own city then many lives will be lost and no war will start, let alone he will most likely be impeached. In another point of view, the president can try to destroy as much as Russia as he can in order to destroy their Nuclear weapons and end the war as soon as possi

The choice the President makes in Fail Safe, is to destroy his own city. He believes that in this manner he will save many more lives as to if he would have started World War III. The President puts a pilot of a bomber plane in a hard position in doing these crazy acts of insanity. The pilot is told orders to blow up a City where his wife and child is living. As he does these acts he ends up poisoning himself to die with his family below.

The pilot of the bomber plane acted as he should have but I have to disagree with him. If I was to be flying that plane I would have refused orders and headed home. I know I would be either killed of put in jail, I know that my family would have lived.

I can understand why the president would do such an act but I believe that it is unlawfully and he should have tried to destroy the other country before destroy
