Observation Survey

On Wednesday December 18, I observed Orientation and Mobility specialist, Penny, throughout the day. All of the lessons were involving orientation and mobility. They were also supposed to find a table and then sit down. They were able to do this on their own without our assistance. After eating, they were supposed to go to the Disney store and find a bear for about $5.00. They were able to do this as well without assistance. I was very impressed with their levels of independence. Much of this independence in this situation was based on their consistent lessons that had occurred before making them familiar with the mall. Kristin used me as a human gu
