There were many great leaders appeared during the Second World War. A good leader should affected the war in such the way he/she wants with great leadership skills, making good decisions, and determined the outcome of the war. General Patton was one of these great leaders in the army who involved in World War II. General Patton was widely known for his tactics and was called a Legend in his own time. He studied all the Great War leaders throughout time and used many of their strategies during battle. He was well known for knowing his history and respected for his knowledge. As described his personality, Patton was a person that would like taking charge in any situation. He was an educated person who graduated in military school. He had military family background therefore he loved to read history and lots of battle stories since he was small. No one loved war or being able to command his/her soldiers as Patton did. He loved his job so much which unlike any other generals and that’s also a reason to make him success. General Patton was an effective speaker and a good communicator. He had a unique ability to speak and using his speech to put down the enemies and raise the morale of his country. During the normal conversation, he seemed to sprinkle four letters words into what he was saying and the listeners would hardly take notice of it. He spoke so easily and used those words in such a way that it just seemed natural for him to talk in that way. His accent also showed a strong personality with the way he talked and spoke in speech. In the opening, he gave a speech to his men which about why American never lose a war. He also said “The real hero is the man who fights even though he is scared.? He said that because he tried to motivate his soldiers in order to make them feel confidence to fight. In the last part of the movie, he was removed form commanding the army. The Germans thought this was a stupid action since he was a great commander. This showed how much the Germans praised him and afraid of him. Most of the army feared him more than hated him in a way they were not only respected him but also trusted him with their lives. He always put up a good fight and takes the offense. He was considerably more aggressive than most other commanders. All in all, General Patton was a great military leader who was famous in the World War II. He had the skills to inspire and led his troops to the victory. He treated his troops fair in punishment and awards. He realized that a leader had to be an actor that showed an image of greatness, otherwise nobody would listen and support him. He acted as a natural born leader and his personality showed why he could lead the United State to many victories.
