These needs and values come from past experiences, they are learned. Among many

values I have two that are most important to me; respect and honesty. Although I have

other values such as responsibility, trust, and love; through my experiences the most

important are respect and honesty. As I was saying before, these values are learned

behaviors, one experience in my life taught me the most about how important respect

and honesty are in relationships. About a year ago, I learned a lesson I value, I had

been dating my boyfriend for almost two years. One day I woke up to a telephone call

from a good friend, she was telling me that the night before at a party my boyfriend

kissed another girl. I was deeply hurt by this and truly felt it was the end of the world.

Besides the fact that he cheated, when I confronted him he lied to me multiple times.

After this incident I realized I would have felt much more comfortable with the break up

if he had told me himself. This is when I realized that respect for one another, for

example respect not to cheat and honesty for one another because if he were to tell me

moved on from that and feel I have taken this experience with me to warn me of future

further my education towards my ultimate goal of being a stockbroker. I have always
