IBM chose to make OS2, to replace DOS in their computers to try and put Microsoft out. Gates decided to loose IBM as his biggest customer and put everything into Windows. Gates would premier in commercials for Windows and would come out in computer conventions in elaborate ordeals. On Jan 1, 1994 Bill married Melinda. Mary, his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and died not too long after he married. Him and his wife finally took time off of work and traveled the world.
